Terms of Service

Last updated: May 14, 2026

When you order a website from Makeit.mn, you agree to these terms. I've written them in plain language — no lawyer-speak — so you know exactly what you're getting and what's expected from both of us. If anything is unclear, just message me.

1What I provide

Makeit.mn is a freelance web development service run by Gantsooj from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. I design and build websites for Mongolian businesses, influencers, and shops on the plans listed at /pricing. Each plan describes what's included.

2Portfolio & marketing rightsImportant

By ordering a website from me, you give me the right to:

  • Display screenshots and photos of your completed website in my portfolio (/portfolio) and on this site.
  • Use your business name and logo as an example of a past client.
  • Use your site, before/after comparisons, and case study details in marketing materials — social media posts, presentations, demos, blog posts.
  • Link to your live site as a reference.

I will never share your customer data, private content, internal documents, or anything not meant to be public. Only publicly visible aspects of your site are used.

Opt-out:If you don't want your project featured publicly, just tell me in writing before launch and I'll respect that. No questions asked.

3Payment

  • One-time plans (Basic, Store, Custom): full payment due before work begins.
  • Subscription plans: monthly or yearly, charged in advance.
  • Add-ons (custom domain setup, extra revisions): invoiced separately.
  • All prices are in Mongolian Tugrug (₮). Payment methods: QPay, bank transfer, cash.
  • Refund policy: Full refund within 7 days of order if no design work has started. After design begins, refunds are reviewed case-by-case.

4Content you provide

  • You provide your business info, text, logos, product photos, and any other content for your site.
  • By providing content, you confirm you have the legal right to use it (no copyrighted images you don't own, no stolen branding).
  • I'm not liable for legal issues caused by content you provide.
  • If you need stock photos or content writing, I can recommend resources or quote that as extra work.

5Ownership of your site

  • One-time plans: You own the site, the code, the design, and all content. You can move it, modify it, hire someone else to maintain it — it's yours.
  • Subscription plans: You use the site while subscribed. The hosting and infrastructure stay on my platform. You can convert to ownership anytime for ₮499,000.
  • If you stop paying your subscription, your site stays online for 14 days, then is taken offline. I'll keep a backup for 90 days after that in case you come back.

6Delivery & revisions

  • Delivery timelines (3–7 days for Basic/Store) are good-faith estimates that depend on you providing content on time.
  • Number of revisions is set by your plan (1 round for Basic, 2 for Store, unlimited for Custom).
  • Additional revisions after included rounds: ₮50,000 per round.
  • Major scope changes after work has started (e.g. switching from a 5-page site to a 20-page site) may require a new quote.

7Hosting, uptime & support (Subscription)

  • Subscription includes hosting on professional infrastructure (Vercel + Supabase).
  • I aim for >99% uptime but don't guarantee 100% — no realistic hosting provider does.
  • Email support during Ulaanbaatar business hours (Mon–Fri). I'll usually reply within 24 hours.
  • Subscription includes small ongoing updates. Major redesigns require a new quote.

8Cancellation

  • Subscription: Cancel anytime by messaging me. Your subscription ends at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds.
  • One-time plans: No ongoing relationship after delivery. You can request future updates, billed separately.

9Privacy & your data

I collect only the information needed to deliver your project: your name, contact, business info, and any content you share. I don't sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it outside the scope of building your site. Customer email addresses on your site (e.g. from contact forms) belong to you, not me.

10Limitation of liability

My total liability for any claim related to a website I build is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months. I'm not liable for indirect damages like lost profits, lost data unrelated to my services, or business interruption. This is standard freelance liability — it protects me from outsized claims while still holding me accountable for the work itself.

11Changes to these terms

I may update these terms occasionally (e.g. when adding new services or plans). Active subscription customers will be notified by email at least 14 days before any material change. One-time customers' terms are locked in at the date of their order.

12Contact & governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia. For questions or disputes, contact me first at gantsoojtu@gmail.com — we can almost always resolve things directly without involving lawyers.
